Life goes on…

ust happen to fly by
Without even saying the slightest goodbye

When we’re stuck in tons of muck
And think we’re totally out of luck
We think our lives are worth nothing
But indeed they are worth something

We wake up each morning with the smell of morning glory
Hoping our day won’t end up being so boring
Performing our much needed tasks and chores
Not exactly knowing what’s going to be in store

When the day is done and night is near
When we go to bed we give out a tear
There’s always something that we fear
When we say our bedtime prayers
We pray that the answer is near
And ask for strength to get beyond what we fear
All we know is life goes on
And we close in the night with our favorite song
