Complications

We all think life is a strawberry delight
Sometimes it can lead us to uncertain flights
We never know the exact reason why
Life never appears to be shy

We live moments when things go well
But sometimes things happen to swell
It just makes us feel so down

It hits us so fast like the speed of lightning
Sometimes it can end up being so frightening
It comes in such strong qualities of vicious tight full binding

The word on the street is life isn’t fair
Everyone has a story to share
We can compare with such strong flare
Such as the good ole’ “rip and tare”

Problems come dashing in
Like the cold fierce wind
Always wanting to take us for a spin
But we never do dare grin
For we think it’s a complete sin

Situations can lead to the good or bad
They’re tagged with emotions such as happy or sad
It’s a privilege; not a right to feel so happy
‘Cause there is people whose lives aren’t so sappy

They’re in a hole that’s deep in miles
Digging up the dirt in such huge piles
Finding a way to make a smile

We never know why complications befall
But we hope at the end of its trial
We can proudly stand tall
Shaking it off like a nail file
Never again we’ll feel so small
